Training on PLHIV rights protection in Temirtau

In April 18, 2015 in Temirtau, under the "Leader for people living with HIV" project, implemented by the Central Asian Association of People Living with HIV, with the financial support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) was held a training on people living with HIV rights protection.

To participate in the training were invited people living with HIV. During the day, participants under the guidance of trainers Vera Larina and Zhandos Rakhmetov, who are representatives of non-governmental organizations, have gained the knowledge about international standards of human rights and freedoms, the state guarantees of human rights protection in Kazakhstan abd legislation to protect the rights of PLHIV. In addition, participants learned how to write letters and appeals to the state court, fill out complaints to state bodies and execute documents.
