The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the RK, the Republican and Regional AIDS and Narcology centers, local and international non-governmental organizations. Moreover among participants were advocacy specialists, representatives of universities, research institutions that are involved in research in the field of HIV.

There were discussed topical issues such as: implementation of scientific approaches and cascade of HIV services, identification of problems in the fight against HIV and ways of its optimal solutions in Kazakhstan, access to ARVs and others.
