The purpose of the event is to discuss the possibilities of participation of non-governmental organizations in the implementation of HIV prevention programs among vulnerable groups in connection with the updating of legislation on NGOs. Objectives: to provide information on changes in legislation on NGOs and new opportunities in obtaining state funding; discuss opportunities for NGOs to participate in HIV prevention programs among vulnerable groups in Kazakhstan as part of government funding.

Among the participants are representatives of NGOs, members of the Country Coordinating Committee from civil society, representatives of state bodies and international organizations. The facilitators of the round table were Professor Maksut Kulzhanov, Adviser to the Minister of Health for International Activities and Nurali Amanzholov, President of the Association of Legal Entities "Kazakhstan Union of People Living with HIV", deputy chairman of the JCC.

The participants got acquainted with the presentations "Interaction of the state and non-governmental sector in the implementation of preventive measures for HIV infection in the RK" - deputy. General Director of the RC of AIDS Irina Petrenko and "Opportunities for NGO participation in the advocacy of receiving a state social order" - PSI representative Mira Saurinbaeva.
