Participation in the training on social work with people who use drugs

July 28-29, 2016 in Almaty, the staff of the Central Asian Association of PLHIV and the Kazakhstan Union of PLWH took part in the training on social work with people who use drugs.

The organizer of the event is CADAP. During the training the participants got acquainted with the individual and social factors of the influence of the use of legal and illegal substances in the OZT program, the reduction of harm in polydrug use, the possibilities of reducing the risk with the intravenous use of several narcotic drugs and other useful information.

Trainers were: Ludger Schmidt and Inna Vyshemirskaya, International Department of the German Organization for Assistance to People with HIV (DeutscheAIDS-Hilfe), Germany.
