The working meeting was held within the framework of the project: "Increasing the meaningful participation of civil society in reducing the burden of TB in Kazakhstan". The TB-REP regional project is implemented with the financial support of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

The meeting was attended by representatives of state, international structures, as well as civil society affected by tuberculosis.

The purpose of the working meeting was to unite the efforts of health organizations, TB services and the civil society to develop joint actions on TB / HIV, to improve and expand patient-oriented health care and social protection services in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     As a result of the event, a draft advocacy plan was developed which change and improve the policy regarding access of people affected by TB to patient-oriented services in health and social protection organizations.
