The purpose of the event is to prepare trainers for holding the patient's schools in the regions of the country. Training was held with the support of the pharmaceutical company "Ebbvi". Among the participants are doctors and people living with HIV from NGOs. Participants represented 4 regions of Kazakhstan.

Participants received basic knowledge of the history of HIV, basic terms, transmission routes, disease prevention, treatment, as well as interactive teaching methods, ways to work effectively with the audience. In the final of the event, practicing modules were developed for training. With their help, participants on their arrival home, will conduct trainings in their regions.

The trainers were V. Boysikov, psychologist and G. Akhmetova, doctor of the AIDS Center in Almaty.
