The participants considered the prerequisites, goals, structure and process of the development of the State program on HIV infection in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2017-2021. And also the first, second and third strategic direction and activities. The concept of overcoming HIV infection in the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030 and the plan of action until 2021 were discussed.

Within the framework of the event there was a presentation of the study "Stigma Index", first conducted in the Central Asia region, including the Kyrgyz Republic. The results of the study were shared by the employee of the Central Asian Association of People Living with HIV B. Asembekov. E. Kalinichenko, Executive Director of the Kyrgyz Network of PLWH, spoke about the draft national plan to combat stigma and discrimination.
